About Me

From life as a pastry chef, writer, recruiter, movie extra, graphic designer and now game designer — the best things in life come from living outside your comfort zone.

My design style is an expression of my vibrant, in-your-face, it-has-to-wow kind of style. I'm inspired by pop art and installations from Yayoi Kusama, Yusuke Nakamura, the Sailor Moon anime, and cute Instagram art.

When I'm not jetting across the stars in a TARDIS or busting escape rooms, I'm at home playing board games, working on DIY/craft projects, and plotting how to take over the next gaming convention.

I'm always working on something new. My work has earned awards for illustration and design.

UI/UX Design

I combine my graphic design skills with research and analytical query to craft meaningful experiences for users.

What started as an elective class project has evolved into a passion for websites and user-centered design.

Game Design

I use principles of graphic design and UI/UX design to create memorable, fun online game experiences.

At Puzzle Break, I was hired to create online digital gaming experiences, which ran the gamut of illustration, UX/UI design, puzzle design, and game design.

Just for fun

I'm not formally trained in art, but sometimes I'll pick up a paintbrush and paint. I like acrylics for their ease, flexibility, and their ability to dry and layer quickly.
