About Me
From life as a pastry chef, writer, recruiter, movie extra, graphic designer and now game designer — the best things in life come from living outside your comfort zone.
My design style is an expression of my vibrant, in-your-face, it-has-to-wow kind of style. I'm inspired by pop art and installations from Yayoi Kusama, Yusuke Nakamura, the Sailor Moon anime, and cute Instagram art.
When I'm not jetting across the stars in a TARDIS or busting escape rooms, I'm at home playing board games, working on DIY/craft projects, and plotting how to take over the next gaming convention.

Work Experience
NINTENDO OF AMERICA
Designed creative solutions for a wide variety of internal- and external-facing first-party Nintendo and third-party publisher projects using strong technical skills in the Adobe Creative Suite and knowledge of Nintendo’s various IP, brand guidelines, and style guides.
Created a variety of physical and digital assets including (but not limited to) web banners, retail displays, tradeshow graphics, social media, hardware packaging, and promotional merchandise.
Designed print-ready graphics files in multiple languages while adhering to brand and production guidelines. Experienced in using templates and working within the limitations of pre-designed art and patterns; recreating previous designs; and updating old design files.
Managed a weekly workload of 7-14 projects — created concept pieces and designs; provided draft designs for team and department reviews; made changes based on feedback; and prepared files for hand-off and publishing.
Supported retail marketing projects for Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, GameStop, and other retailers in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil markets.
Demonstrated ability to follow creative direction, integrate feedback, manage schedules and deadlines, support senior designers with workloads, and keep confidentiality on company projects.
Previous projects include (but are not limited to) AAA game titles: Super Mario Bros. Wonder; The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom; Pikmin 4; Kirby: Return to Dreamland Deluxe; Detective Pikachu Returns; The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.

Just for fun
I'm not formally trained in art, but sometimes I'll pick up a paintbrush and paint. I like acrylics for their ease, flexibility, and their ability to dry and layer quickly.
